OrbitsEdge had a unique model to decrease the cost of computing in space. By utilizing inexpensive terrestrial-based hardware installed in a hardened satellite chassis, space data could be efficiently collected, compiled, and compressed into a singular large block of data before being transmitted back to Earth rather than the current model where hundreds of satellites are constantly pushing bits of data to earth at a very costly rate.
Having partnered with HPE and reserving space on a near future SpaceX launch, funding goals were never met. Investors cited the company was simply too far ahead in the space race to allocate current available capital earmarked for other higher priority initiatives needed to build the low orbit and deep space infrastructure.

If you thought getting a record deal or greenlighting a movie was hard, try getting into the space race.

Along with taking on the usual role of Corporate and Brand Identity Creator, Marketing Director, and Asset Producer, Bram took on a business development role heading the initiative to find investment capital through the Arts & Entertainment Vertical. He successfully brought OrbitsEdge a $50M Deal that was passed over by the board due to foreign investment channels. Consequently, the team broke up although the company is still operating today by a founding member waiting for the Space Race to catch up with the solution.
OrbitsEdge did open doors for Bram Enterprises to continue work in the Aerospace Vertical. Bram designed websites for Sidus Space and Saiber.ai along with crafting Saiber's DoD pitch for an air-to-ground offensive using autonomous drone sorties to combat the Ukrainian war at a substantial cost savings without putting American lives in harm's way.

Spot 1: OrbitsEdge-Missing Piece of Space Infrastructure

Commercializing space needs more than launch capabilities and satellite communications. Today’s satellites are not designed to handle the huge amounts of space-born data. An in-orbit data infrastructure is necessary to drive growth and space commercialization. OrbitsEdge’s mission is to provide the missing piece, an in-orbit virtualized data infrastructure at the edge of space, that’s agile and adapts to new demands turning data into actionable insights.

Spot 2: The OrbitsEdge Team

Overview of the OrbitsEdge leadership and critical partnerships needed for success.

Spot 3: OrbitsEdge Target Markets - Entertainment, AI/Machine Learning and High Performance Computing.

OrbitsEdge’s mission is to provide the missing in-orbit virtualized data infrastructure at the edge of space, that’s agile and adapts to new demands turning data into actionable insights.
